First Year Art Fair Jitters

While I launched Allie & Tess back in January 2018, this upcoming art fair season is my first!

There are different kinds of shows- both juried, and registration-based. Preparing to apply to these shows is quite a process, juried ones especially. There are so many rules, written and unwritten, and I must admit that I thought about abandoning ship and only applying to mainly open registration shows for this year. With the support of my friends and family, and some incredibly helpful guidance from friends in the art show world, I managed to pull together all the pieces for my applications and have started receiving results!

This morning I got word that I was accepted to the Haddonfield Crafts & Fine Arts Festival in July! This is extra exciting, as the show takes place in a town just adjacent to my hometown of Cherry Hill, NJ! I grew up loving our family adventures in Haddonfield, and have great respect for the art scene there. I can't wait to share my works in my home state! Jersey and Philadelphia-area friends, I hope to see you there!

Follow along with me as I continue to get the results from the shows I've applied to, you can check for updates on my Art Show & Festival Schedule page!
